Weekend!
So this weekend was a quiet one. My friends' little one turned 5 and had a small birthday party for her. So rather than go to a toy shop and get her a barbie doll, I went to the book store and bought her a few books.

3. Happy Halloween Little Critter (lol, I used to read these all the time. they have them for EVERY holiday, it's awesome).
I know she just turned 5 but her mamma reads to her and i just really love the idea of perhaps her having a nice little memory of her mom reading one of these books to her.
It was awesome watching her unwrap them and get all excited. "A book!" ((insert huge smile)) hahaha. I'll be honest, I was nervous because kids don't lie, if they don't like something you'll be sure to know it! Anyway, it was great!
On Sunday we went to mass at the cathedral downtown, San Fernando. It's such a beautiful church! and it's located at the heart of downtown.
After mass we walked along the riverwalk and enjoyed a nice cup of coffee from a local shop. I know...who wants coffee at 1pm?! lol BUT for some reason it just sounded like a great idea and it smelled great and was great until we continued walking....then i got hot...really hot...and was annoyed that i decided to get coffee at 1pm while walking all over downtown.
