Mexico City - Day 1

Mexico City ::sigh:: haha, ohhhh where to begin?! D.F is such an incredible city full of art, culture, inspiration, love and overall awesomeness. Every time I visit it's hard for me to leave. I feel so inspired, happy to be surrounded by so many creative people and I think it's this that just makes me feel right at home. It's like a special vibe you connect with and don't want to lose. I guess i'm in love, lol...is that weird? - lol. 

This trip I was only able to spend 2 full days in the city and it was not enough (it never is). We tried to squeeze in as much food, art and drinks as possible. Below are a few photos from our first full day in one of the greatest cities in the world <3

Aaaaa, mi Mexico lindo y querido, jajaja. Cada q' vengo al D.F no me quiero ir. Me quisiera quedar en la ciudad q' vive y respira arte, cultura, creatividad, inspiracion y amorrrrr! No se, pero siento una conexcion increible con esta ciudad hermosa, jajaja super raro no? Sera amor? Estare enamorada de la ciudad? Es posible? jajaja, tantas preguntas! En este viaje solo pude pasarme 2 dias en el D.F e intentamos ver, comer y tomar lo mas posible - lol. Bueno, aqui les dejo unas cuantas fotitos de nuestro primer dia en el D.F

After a good breakfast we headed over to Museo Soumaya. The architecture is amazing! Such a beautiful museum.

The inside of the museum is all white and looks stunning! So clean and bright and perfect for photos like this - lol.

Conveniently located next door is Museo Jumex.

The sun was scorching so they gave everyone umbrellas while waiting in line - so thoughtful and nice <3

Museo Jumex had the most amazing Andy Warhol - Dark Star exhibit.

No photos were allowed inside the galleries so I couldn't take any photos but it was absolutely amazing. All of the iconic AW paintings/prints were there - The Elvis print, Campbell Soup Print, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and many many more. It was super interesting learning about Andy's "dark side" and work before the famous campbell soup. If you ever find yourself in MX City before Sept. 10th, I def. recommend you check out the exhibit.

The streets in MX City are flooded with hidden little bars, cafes, restaurants...it's awesome.
